Happening every first Sunday of the month, Mana’o Radio Sunset Sundays fundraiser features a selection of talented Maui musicians and ‘ono food for sale with a portion of food sales supporting Mana’o Radio! Admission is only $10 and the views are priceless!

1. Dayan Kai
Dayan Kai

Dayan (“DAY-uhn”) Kai is a true force of musical nature. An artist whose abilities and style know few bounds, Dayan is known for his soulful voice, powerful songwriting, and multi-instrumental prowess. “Dayan is perhaps one of the most complete and talented musicians . . . not only is he a dazzling multi-instrumentalist, but also a soulful vocalist with a stratospheric range and a poignant songwriter who knows how to heal with his compositions.”

Born on the island of Maui, Kai grew up between Hawaii and California. His extensive musical adventures have taken him across the country and the world. He has played on the main stage of numerous musical festivals in the US, Canada and Australia including the High Sierra Music Festival, the Kate Wolf Festival, the Sisters Folk Festival, the Blue Mountains Music Festival, and the Strawberry Music Festival. Dayan has also released several solo albums of his original music and is a Blue Coast recording artist.
Dayan served as the musical director and performed in Burn’n Love, which was the #1 show in the state for several years.

2. Danyel Alana

Funk Rock Island Soul’ best describes this guitarist, singer & songwriter. Danyel has a musical style that reflects her roots of growing up on the beaches of LA & the Hawaiian Islands. Whether solo on acoustic or electric with a band, her unbridled guitar style & powerful vocals fuel the passion in her versatile, dynamic & high energy performances! Raised in a family of artists & musicians, Danyel Alana followed the family footsteps. Danyel Alana has now been performing & touring off and on over 25 years, gaining a strong regional following in the pacific northwest. She’s opened for, recorded or performed with, many artists’ across Hawaii, mainland US, Canada, & Japan over the years. 3. Lo Wolf

LO WOLF howls loud and proud, singing straight from the heart and the depths of her being. Sultry, soulful and honest in her craft, music is where she comes most alive. Her music shifts into a new element of combining soul and hints of rock’n’roll. She is always letting the inspiration remain fresh and doesn’t confine to a certain genre.
