Trish presents an hour-long talk story, interview, and live music experience featuring a respected Maui artist/band on the Mana’o Radio Facebook page LIVE stream.

We are grateful to the brand new Backlit Buddha Studios in Kahului for allowing us to present this and all future episodes of MANA’O@HOME in their beautiful new rehearsal studio!

This week we are pleased to welcome Jimmy C.

Smooth jazz artist Jimmy C (Jimmy Coulter) joins us for some cool conversation and lovely tunes at his favorite place, BackLit Buddha Studios. He’s bringing his good friend and collaborator, Jeff Hellmer, a magnificent musician we’re thrilled to feature as well. 

Trish and the groovy gentlemen get cozy to share about all about Jimmy C’s multi-faceted journey, from drumming to center stage crooner, and explore his seventh studio album, FROM HIS HEART — “a collection of intimate, stripped-down covers of classic jazz tunes you didn’t know you were missing.” 

Jimmy C is known for his dazzling dynamics behind a drum kit, but he’s stepped out front in recent years, bringing a soulful focus to his vocals and emotions like you’ve never seen before. His style is known to be raw, welcoming, and from the heart. Jimmy’s artistry and his sincere, inviting croon will melt you like warm butter, as the Buddha Crew always says.
