“I’m a Mana‘o Radio DJ because…music wants to be free, free from program and format restrictions, free from commercial considerations, free from any agenda other than to enliven us, to give us joy and pleasure, to bring us together in a community that is animated by the shared experience and the collective satisfaction we get in taking the journey together. It’s an honor to sit in the chair and foster that community and its STOKE for three hours each week!”

Duncan is from a musical family, and got into DJing in college (WESU, 88.1 FM in Middletown, CT).  After a long hiatus, he started spinning live sets for an ecstatic dance collective in the Hudson Valley of NY State (The Freestyle Frolic!) in his 40s. He moved to Maui in 2015 and got the call to join the Mana’o Radio ohana in 2017, where he’s happy to be back in the saddle, sharing awesome music with the residents of the Valley Isle and across the world!
