DJ G. Marie

Gail Marie moved to Maui in 2016, after spending many vacations in Hawaii as a child, growing up listening to The Brothers Cazimero, and playing with poi balls stored in her Minneapolis toy chest. After college, and still living in the Twin Cities, she listened to independent radio station The Current, and learned about “indie music” and local bands. Gail discovered the many pleasures of community radio when she lived in North Carolina and was a part of WHUP 104.7 FM out of Hillsborough. Naturally, she found KMNO once living on Maui, and, after subbing for other DJs on the station for three years, Gai[ got her own show!
