Maui Hands

Simply put there is no better place on Maui to find that special piece of local artwork.  Maui Hands was begun by Maui’s own Panna Speas Cappelli in 1992.  Growing through the years into three studios – in Paia, Makawao and at the Shops at Wailea – Maui Hands has become the creative efforts of 300 local artisans working in every conceivable medium and style, including paintings, prints, glass, woodworking, pottery and sculpture along with local hardwood furniture and home accessories.  In addition, they carry the work of 30 different jewelers, as well as the largest collection of Ni’ihau shell leis on Maui.  Each location is fun to visit, full of interesting, beautiful and eclectic pieces in every price range.

In Panna’s words, “Maui Hands was born of a desire to work with good people while being surrounded by beauty.  Dreams do come true.”  Maui Hands spreads Aloha and imparts a bit of Maui every day.
