E Ola Kākou Ē: A Music Video Release Party with Kamaka Camarillo & Anthony Pfluke at Pro Arts, Oct. 12th at 7pm

Maui born & raised Nā Hōkū Hanohano Award winning singer-songwriter Kamaka Camarillo will be coming to Maui to celebrate the release of his new music video E Ola Kākou Ē, a collaboration with Anthony Pfluke, paying homage to the Aliʻi of Hawaiʻi, from King Kamehameha I to Queen Liliʻuokalani. They also released a single together called Loyal Man, which will be played as well. Don’t miss this extravagant evening of ʻukulele, electric guitar, slack-key, soul stirring vocals, and awe-inspiring original music for two of Kīhei’s sons!

About Anthony:

Born and raised in Waiakoa (Kīhei), Maui, Anthony has been rooted in Hawaiian music from an early age, forging an original path perpetuating the music of his home. His latest all-original album We Will Rise was a finalist in the Nā Hōkū Hanohano Awards. Writing and performing Hawaiian, contemporary, and reggae-influenced music on the ‘ukulele, and 12 & 6 string Kīho‘alu (Slack key Guitar), Anthony has entertained across Hawai‘i, Japan, and the US, playing with some of Hawai‘i’s most iconic musicians such as Henry Kapono, Brother Noland, George Kahumoku Jr., Barry Flanagan, and many more. Anthonyʻs latest single Lahaina Strong is in dedication to those affected by the 2023 Lahaina fire, with hopes of a brighter future for Maui, putting its people first. This Nā Hōkū Hanohano finalist is a rising star in the islands and definitely one to watch!

About Kamaka:

Hawaiian singer/songwriter Kamaka Camarillo, hailing from Kīhei, Maui, gained notable recognition in the Hawaiʻi music scene with his 2018 viral music video, “E Piʻi Mai feat. Wikz.” The video received widespread attention from media outlets like KHON2, KITV4, HNN, and the Honolulu Advertiser within the first week of its release. In 2019, Kamaka secured three nominations at the Island Music Awards and is now a ten-time Nā Hōkū Hanohano Music Award Finalist. Further solidifying his position, he won the Nā Hōkū Hanohano Music Award for R&B Album of the Year in 2020. With over ten songs aired on Hawaiʻi radio stations, Kamaka’s journey reflects dedication, talent, and a deep cultural appreciation, establishing him as a rising star in the Hawaiʻi music scene.
