The Rockmeister

I am a professional radio and TV host with over 40 years of experience. I began my career at Europe’s famous RADIO LUXEMBURG, where I hosted a nightly show called NIGHT ROCK for 15 years. After relocating from Europe to Los Angeles, I became THE HOLLYWOOD REPORTER at RTL, Germany’s top TV station, where I anchored a daily program for another 15 years. After that I became the executive producer and host of the German Version of Paramount TV’s ENTERTAINMENT TONIGHT.

While maintaining a second home in Maui, I wrote and produced a movie featuring Pat Morita, titled GONE TO MAUI, in 1999. After moving to Maui full-time, I initially retired from the media, but soon realized I missed the thrill of broadcasting. That’s when I joined my favorite station KMNO, the best station on the island, which offers a unique experience with no playlists or advertising, and all the DJs are genuinely passionate about their shows.

I host my show with inspiration from my hero Ludwig van Beethoven: “To play a wrong note is insignificant, but to play without passion is inexcusable!”
