Our audio goes over the Internet using a technique known as "streaming audio". To receive this, you must have:

1. A computer with a sound card and speakers (or headphones)
2. The software to process the streams so that you can hear our station.

If you do not have audio stream processing software, you will not be able to hear our live broadcast without downloading the required software to your computer. Our stream is a MPEG Audio Stream and can be listened to with a variety of free softwares including Winamp (Windows) and iTunes (Mac & Windows). Answer:

Why does the audio sometimes break up or start and stop?

Answer:
This can be caused by network congestion, slow connection speed (i.e. dial-up modem users), or by internet connection problems with your ISP (i.e. not enough bandwidth available to you with your internet service).
